CTV mix up
Angry Grey's Anatomy fans lashed out at CTV on Friday after the network inadvertently aired the second episode of the season rather than the season premiere.
One blogger said: "Can I just say that CTV is a crappy irresponsible network?"
"Yes, I know errors happen, but this is one of the biggest shows on TV these days," wrote carmen16. "(I'm) just not impressed."
"Stupid people who don't know how to push buttons right. I am most seriously displeased," posted another who identified herself as "Lynda."
Others who hadn't yet seen Episode 2 were concerned CTV's mistake would ruin it for them.
"Now that I know that Canada got next week's episode, I'm going to be frightened of spoilers constantly until next week!" wrote "jasminelily."
CTV spokesman Mike Cosentino said the network took in its regular satellite feed of the show thinking that it was the season premiere.
"We were fed an incorrect show," he said Friday. "We are absolutely committed to delivering Episode 1 in its entirety to viewers. .... We recognize the scope of this situation."
He said an airdate for the season premiere would be announced shortly.
The error came as Grey's Anatomy made its much-anticipated debut in its new Thursday night timeslot.
On CTV, the show airs at 8 p.m. ET, while the U.S. version airs at 9 p.m. on ABC.
That means viewers could have watched Episode 2 on CTV and then tuned in to the season premiere on ABC.
After a cliffhanger finale, Grey's Anatomy fans had waited all summer to see what would happen on the show, which follows the tumultuous lives of a group of Seattle doctors.
Consentino called the CTV glitch a "good news/bad news scenario."
"The bad news is viewers missed Episode 1 and we're working on the right solution to remedy that, and the good news is Episode 2 is fantastic." [

Personally, I wasn't mad at all. A little confused at first... but once I saw a patient come in with a
tree through him (episode 2 is called "I Am a Tree"), I kind of figured it out.
EDIT: CTV has released this statement.
CTV to air Grey's Anatomy premiere Sept. 28Dear Grey's Anatomy fan
As you may be aware, CTV received the incorrect episode of Grey's Anatomy from ABC yesterday. The result was that Canadians saw episode 2 on CTV and not the premiere we were all waiting for.
As fans of this show ourselves, we understand fully the disappointment and frustration that this has caused.
To rectify the situation CTV will air the season premiere episode in its entirety at 7PM CT, 8 pm ET/PT and 9 pm MT/AT next Thursday September 28th, 2006.
Once again we at CTV apologize for the inconvenience this error has caused.
Thank you
CTV
Double dose of Grey's for Canadian fans!
If you are like me, a Canadian Grey's Anatomy fan, you must have been confused when you sat down to watch Grey's at 8 on CTV. That's because CTV aired "I Am a Tree" (the second episode of the season) instead of "Time Has Come Today" which they should've aired. Needless to say, I caught the first episode of the season on ABC at 9 and it all made sense again.
Let me just say.... JUICY ending for "I Am a Tree"... AH! I want to spill... but that may just be too much.
Also, be sure to check out the new layout up at
ABC for the Grey's Anatomy section. I like it!
"Time Has Come Today"... almost...
In 3 days time, we will begin where we left off in Grey's Anatomy's griping season 2 finale. Don't forget the move to Thursdays, so be
SURE you're watching Grey's.... and nothing else!

Season three picks up right where we left off, with Meredith having to make a choice between Derek and Finn. It doesn't look like a choice will be made right away.
Rest assured folks, Meredith will indeed ultimately choose Derek in the long run!
The interns help Izzie deal with the death of Denny and it won't be an easy road for poor Izzie.
The chief has some troubles when his wife rips him a new one after he spends the night at the hospital.
George asks someone we'd never expect for advice on his relationship with Callie. [

And also, Shonda posted this morning on the
writer’s blog and apparently those little black panties are more important than we think...
hmmmmm....Oh, I can't wait!

Episodes of Greys Anatomy to Be Available on iTunes Beginning Later This Month
Dedicated to expanding its network and channel brands across multiple platforms and connecting viewers with their favorite shows anytime and anywhere, Disney-ABC Television Group announced today it will offer one million free downloads of last season's finales of Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy and Lost as part of ABC and iTunes Million Hit Lowdown promotion which is designed to catch viewers up on their favorite shows before the new season premieres.
By offering hit ABC programming on multiple platforms, we're ensuring that the largest audience possible is able to view these series, said Albert Cheng, executive vice president, Digital Media, Disney-ABC Television Group. Working together with iTunes, we've not only been able to provide viewers with choice in terms of when and how they view our shows, but have also increased overall awareness of the ABC brand and our quality content.
We're delighted to be partnering in a huge promotion that makes sure fans are excited and ready for the new season of ABC's most popular shows, said Eddy Cue, Apple's vice president of iTunes. With over 220 TV programs available, iTunes is clearly the best destination for downloading top TV programming this fall.
In addition to the three series finales, ABC will also offer unlimited iTunes downloads of special highlight shows for each of the three series, featuring commentary from show producers and the expert editors at People Magazine and Entertainment Weekly. The three specials -- Getting Into Greys Anatomy, The Lost Survival Guide and Desperate Housewives: Time to Come Clean -- provide overviews of each of the series from their first season to the present, so fans get a new point of view and new viewers can get caught up.
We are always looking for innovative new ways for viewers to connect with our programming, said Michael Benson, senior vice president, Marketing, ABC Entertainment. This promotion allows people the chance to see the season finales of our hit shows along with new highlight specials for free before the new season begins. This is a first-of-its-kind promotion that will reward fans as well as new viewers.
From SEPTEMBER 14 through OCTOBER 4, users who visit
www.abc.com and click on the
Million Hit Lowdown link will be taken directly to the iTunes Store, where they have a choice of downloading last seasons finale of either Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy or Lost. In addition to the free download of one of the finales, they can also get unlimited free downloads of all three highlight specials.

Affiliates added
So, while sorting through the abyss of e-mails in my inbox, I think I've answered all the affiliate applications I could find. If I haven't added your site, or e-mailed you back, then there is a good chance that I've lost your affiliate application in the black hole that is my inbox.
Please apply again if you're still interested. I will be added 2 more sites to the main page and then the rest are probably going onto the affiliates page. This may change later on though.
McDreamy soon to be McDaddy... again!
Patrick Dempsey is expecting another child with his wife of seven years, Jillian. He told the New York Daily News’ Gatecrasher column, "Me and my wife, Jillian, are very excited to expand our family."
According to
Celebrity Baby Blog, the 40-year-old actor recently told InStyle magazine that although he and his wife Jill want a second child, he wishes that he could skip the first six months - he finds the non-stop crying frustrating. And he would know -- the couple already have a four-and-a-half year old daughter, Tallulah Fyfe.
