New layout!
As you can see, I've put up a new Halloween-inspired layout featuring the beautiful Kate Walsh.
I wanted to order a layout from a design site since I didn't really have time to make a new one and I had these great pictures of Kate, I wasn't so sure I could do them justice. But I've made every layout for this site since it's started, which I'm kind of proud of... so... here it is.
Hope you like it!
Tempers flare on set of Grey's
McDreamy and Burke apparently almost got into a fist fight on Monday — and it wasn't over Meredith or Christina, or a surgery patient who rolled into the OR.
"Grey's Anatomy" stars Patrick Dempsey and Isaiah Washington (they play Dr. Shepherd and Dr. Burke respectively on the hit ABC series) got into an argument on the set of show, and it nearly came to blows, according to the New York Daily News.
The paper reports that while Dempsey and Washington were filming, they got into a fight about cast members being late for production.
After Dempsey and Washington had words, Washington reportedly fired a mean comment at costar T.R. Knight, which prompted Dempsey to say, "Pick on someone your own size," according to the National Enquirer.
A source told the Enquirer that Washington got angry and allegedly grabbed McDreamy by the throat and shoved him a few feet. But the Daily News' source says no punches were thrown, but rather "Isaiah said some disgusting things … I think Isaiah has issues."
The Daily News' source says that Washington may have some "underlying jealousy" over Dempsey's rise in popularity.
"Differences are inevitable. They were aired, resolved, and everyone has moved on," Washington's publicist, Cynthia Snyder, said in a statement given to The ShowBuzz on Wednesday.
Washington told People magazine that the incident was less dramatic than reports had described.
"We were like two baseball players . . . nose to nose," Washington tells the magazine. "We had a difference of opinions while working on set but we've resolved it."
"Time and (keeping) the production going" was what started the fight, Washington told People. "The communication was lost in translation." Washington also says there was no brawl or face punching ("Our faces are too beautiful for that") and that later they were reading scripts next to one another.
Sources tell TV's "Entertainment Tonight" that the cast and crew will work over the weekend to make up for lost time due to the dispute. [

McSteamy a McRegular!
Judging by the comments on the "Grey's Anatomy" writer's blog after last Thursday's episode, fans of the show were rather pleased to see Dr. Mark "McSteamy" Sloan again.
Better news for those fans, a number of whom made references to jaws dropping: He'll be sticking around for a while.
Eric Dane, who made his first appearance on the show last season and closed Thursday's episode by walking out of a hotel bathroom wearing only a towel, is joining the cast full-time, ABC says. His appearance Thursday closed a scene in which Dr. Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) was breaking up (for good, apparently) with his estranged wife, Addison (Kate Walsh).
Sloan, of course, was the reason Derek moved to Seattle in the first place, when his former best friend slept with his wife. His ongoing presence will either set up two interlocking love triangles (Meredith-Finn-Derek and Derek-Addison-Sloan) or one big love pentagon. Or, if the Shepherds' marriage really is done for good, at least give Addison a new man.
Dane played Multiple Man (Jamie Madrox) in the summer flick "X-Men: The Last Stand" and also has a part in the "Project Greenlight" movie "Feast."
His TV credits include another ABC medical drama, "Gideon's Crossing," a recurring part on "Charmed" and the 2004 CBS movie "Helter Skelter." He's also guest-starred on "Las Vegas" and "Roseanne." [

Recap of season premiere... and more
I've received quite a few e-mails to recap the season premiere for you and spoil you a little too... so here goes.
The episode starts off with a flashback to New York, where Addison is standing in a T-shirt outside her place with Derek. Meredith ran out of the hospital in her long black evening gown, not choosing either Finn or McDreamy. A scene of the chief after prom flashes by. And a scene with Addison looking at a pair of black panties (obvously Meredith's). Apparently Addison put on Derek's suit jacket later that night and found Meredith's missing panties in the pocket.
Izzie is lying on the bathroom floor, still in her prom dress as George, Cristina, Alex and Izzie congregated around the door trying to talk to her. Finally, George goes in and she just tells him to shut up. She had a sweet conversation with Christina, who convinced her that they should sit Shivah for Denny. At the hospital, Dr. Bailey IDed Denny's body. The guy transporting the body told her Denny's family wanted the body to be shipped to Memphis and there was no funeral. A tearful Bailey stood over Denny's body and said: "I'm so sorry." I'm sorry too. Denny was one of my faves.
At the Shepherd trailer, Addison washed the panties she found, folded them, put them in a Ziplock and took them to work. She and Alex worked on the abandoned baby case (a baby was found in the garbage at school), but her mind was clearly elsewhere. Meanwhile, Derek's mind was elsewhere too. He was dying to finish his shift and go see Meredith. Before he could leave, he and George were quarantined because a patient they operated on had the plague. But during their confinement, they had a cute conversation and George said he regretted how he acted when Callie said she loved him. Derek urged George to tell Callie how he felt.
Callie arrived at Meredith's to help with the Shivah. Remember: The last time Mer saw Callie was when Callie walked in on Meredith and Derek's little romp. So when Mer opened the door, Callie quipped: "Relax, I'm not gonna bring it up -- you and McDreamy and the sex. I'm not that person." Shortly after, Finn arrived. He told Meredith he didn't know what happened between her and McDreamy the night before, but he understood because they weren't exclusive. Then he told that he still wants to be with her and he'd compete with McDreamy to win her love. He also said something creepy and lame about throwing his hat in the ring.
There were so many flashbacks, but they were all new flashbacks. Anyway, here's what they showed: A young Meredith watching her mother fight with Richard… The interns meeting at a party the day before they started at the hospital… Derek and Meredith meeting for the first time… My favorite was Addison and Derek -- right after she cheated with McSteamy. On that fateful, rainy night, he took her clothes and tossed them outside their brownstone. Then he kicked her out -- in nothing but panties and a CBGB t-shirt. Here was part of their exchange:
Addison: "We can survive this. We're Addison and Derek."
Derek: "I can't look at you. I look at you and I feel nauseous. We're not Derek and Addison anymore."
I want to hate Addison so much but I just can't. For some reason I find her so much more likable than Meredith, who would simply wear me out if we were friends. All her drama.
Adele told the Chief to choose her or his job. He basically chose his job… Not much on the Alex front. He just hinted that he had a bad childhood. Oh, and he got even hotter over hiatus... There was no Preston until the end, which is a damn shame because I love him. But the one scene was worth it. Drained from Izzie's drama, Christina arrived in his hospital room, climbed in his bed, burst into tears and rested her head on his chest. (How un-Christina, right?) She whispered: "Don't ever die." He sweetly replied: "I'll do my best." … Cut back to the house, where Izzie lifted her head off the floor for the first time and slowly stood up. "I'm ready," she told Meredith, who helped her take off the ball gown… Back at the hospital, Addison -- knowing full well that the panties were Meredith's -- tacked them up on the bulletin board under a lost and found sign.
After getting outta quarantine, Derek raced to Meredith's. He walked in -- in all his hotness -- and they stood across from one another just kind of staring and smiling.
Meredith: "So… what does this mean?"
Derek: "It means you have a choice. You have a choice to make. And I don't want to rush you into making a decision before you're ready. This morning I was going to come over and I was… What I wanted to say was… [Clears throat] But now all I can say is that… I'm in love with you. I've been in love with you forever. I'm a little late. I know I'm a little late in telling you that. I just want you to take your time, you know? Take all the time you need because you have a choice to make. And when I had choice to make, I chose wrong."
And in the end, even after his little pep talk with McDreamy... George couldn't tell Callie he loved her. [

Love and astrology Grey's style!
I read this article and I just thought it was fun.
The twelve astrological signs represent twelve archetypes of personality, and representations of these archetypes can be found virtually everywhere. The television show Grey's Anatomy, which I'm embarrassed to say I watch religiously each week and which premiered its second season last night, is no exception. Remember that the outward persona is really the ascendant, so the signs described here are more likely to be the ascendant, or rising sign, of the characters.
Volume 2 soundtrack rocks!
Grey's Anatomy: Volume 2 Soundtrack the Second Companion Album to the Emmy-Nominated Series Enters Billboard's Top 200 at No. 14BURBANK, Calif., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Fueled by hit singles "How To Save A Life," from The Fray, and a an exclusive live acoustic version of Snow Patrol's "Chasing Cars" Grey's Anatomy: Volume 2 TV series soundtrack has rocketed onto Billboard's Top 200 chart at #14, with sales of more than 46,000 units and to #3 on iTunes, bested only by Justin Timberlake and John Mayer, with digital sales of more than 14,000. The blockbuster TV series soundtrack marks the biggest first week sales of an original TV series soundtrack since 1999's Dawson's Creek.
The album's tracks, many of which can be heard during key emotional scenes in various episodes, were chosen by the show's creator and executive producer, Shonda Rhimes and executive producer Betsy Beers, from a large pool of artists introduced to them by music supervisor Alex Patsavas.
The show's quirky combination of sound and vision are perfectly captured on this brilliant mixtape of pop and indie rock artists, as evidenced by the inclusion of singer/songwriter Gran Bel Fisher's tender "Bound By Love," KT Tunstall's "Universe and U," Kate Havnevik's "Grace" and "How We Operate" by Gomez. "KT, Kate and Gomez are three artists that the show loves and has turned to several times for music," says Grey's Anatomy music supervisor Alexandrea Patsavas. "For last season's finale, we needed a song that expressed loss and Kate wrote 'Grace' specifically for us. She captured the show's emotion perfectly. KT has a beautiful, heartfelt delivery and a unique, expressive voice that's lent depth to many of the show's scenes. As for Gomez, 'How We Operate' was a great match both musically and lyrically."

Grey's comes out on top! Take that CSI!
Fast National ratings for Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006
ABC loudly announced its arrival as a competitor on Thursday, as "Grey's Anatomy" unseated "CSI" as the night's top show -- at least for this week -- and helped the network claim a share of the ratings crown.
For the night, ABC averaged an 11.2 rating/18 share. CBS was a close second at 11.0/17 and actually won the night among total viewers with 18.08 million to ABC's 17.31 million. NBC came in third with a 7.4/12. FOX, 2.9/5, finished fourth, and The CW trailed with a 1.6/2.
ABC claimed an outright victory among adults 18-49 with a 7.2 rating. CBS, 6.0, took second in the demographic advertisers love most, while NBC came in third with a solid 4.8. There was a substantial drop to fourth-place FOX, 1.6, and The CW, which posted a 1.0.
"Survivor: Cook Islands" put CBS on top at 8 p.m. with a 9.8/16. A "Grey's Anatomy" clip show on ABC was a strong second at 9.2/15. NBC was third with season premieres of "My Name Is Earl," 5.8/10, and "The Office," 5.7/9 (which actually built on its lead-in a little in total viewers and 18-49). "'Til Death," 3.9/6, and "Happy Hour," 3.0/5, were fourth for FOX. The CW went with a "Smallville" rerun.
At 9 p.m., the "Grey's Anatomy" season premiere, 15.7/23, scored a rather shocking win over CBS' "CSI," 13.5/20, which has dominated the timeslot for several years. "Deal or No Deal" was a distant third for NBC at 6.5/10. "Celebrity Duets" slumped to a 2.4/4 for FOX. A "Supernatural" rerun on The CW trailed.
Another medical drama, NBC's "ER," won the 10 p.m. hour with a 10.0/16. The premiere of "Shark" on CBS averaged 9.8/16. ABC's "Six Degrees" lost a big chunk of its lead-in to finish at 8.6/14.
