Welcome to Grey's Directory
Grey's Directory is an ever-growing site directory exclusively for websites dedicated to the television series, Grey's Anatomy.
This site has been up since June 2005. This is by no means an elite link directory, but please submit sites that will be
updated regularly and that you've put a substantial amount of effort into.
Link backs are not necessary, although they are highly appreciated! Afterall, the more hits I get, the more hits you get!
If you need to drop me a line for whatever reason, please feel free to email me at Peachie_K@yahoo.com
and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible! Thanks for visiting!
Grey's Directory Banner Exchange

Updates
Little update!
Mainly just wanted to post a little message, let everyone know I'm still around and even though I haven't posted much news, I am still approving submissions as they come in.
Also, just wanted to let you all know that I will be adding more affiliates soon... don't worry, I haven't forgot about all of you who have e-mailed me about that! I am currently only accepting link directories and Grey's Anatomy-related sites. Just remember, before you apply to be an affiliate, I just ask that your site be listed in the directory first (unless you own a link directory, then you're exempt)!
I am also looking for affiliates for my other link directory,
Silver Skyes, a site listing for sites dedicated to the now-cancelled shows, Angel, Buffy and Roswell
(which Katherine Heigl used to star in). So if you have a link directory, or Angel/Buffy/Roswell-related site, please head on over and apply to be an affiliate, or better yet, get your site listed there as well!
That's all for today!
Isaiah Washington: Grey's or Goes?
I really wasn't going to post anything about this, but this situation has really spun out of control and at stake is the show's popularity and reputation for promoting diversity!
Since the Golden Globes, there has been a stir of controversy surrounding Isaiah and comments he made during the awards' show which has hurt the show where it hurts most, in the ratings.
Up until this week, Grey's Anatomy had a dominating lead against every competing show in their timeslot. However, last week's episode saw CBS's former powerhouse, CSI, trail Grey's by only 611,000 viewers, according to the Nielsen ratings.
Additionally, CSI beat Grey's to become the #1 program of the night among key men.
As ABC continues to hold back, advertisers will become wary of putting commercials on the now tainted Grey's Anatomy show.
There is currently a
petition online which is asking ABC to replace Isaiah's character with another actor. At last I checked, there were over 16,000 signatures. Likewise, there is another
online petition circling, asking ABC to keep Isaiah.
What is your position on the whole situation? Should he stay or should he go?
I have heard some good arguments that, had it been Patrick Dempsey or some other cast mate that made a racist remark (i.e. using the N-word) they would have been fired on the spot. This double standard surely isn't fair, I can see that.
Link checks and new layout!
So, I had a bit of extra time today and I went through all the links and for each site that I wasn't able to access, I e-mailed the owner and put the link on hiatus.
If you did get an e-mail from me, please either fix the problem or e-mail me back to let me know you've closed the site so I can definitively delete the link from the directory without feeling guilty.

I also put up a new layout today! It may be the most plain/boring layout ever, but I really liked the picture... so I just had to use it.
I'm also still looking for sites to
join the banner exchange! It's a great way to increase hits! And if you have any trouble with the code or anything like that, I'd be more than happy to help. So, if you have a Grey's Anatomy site listed here and a 200x40 banner, why not?
Thanks to
Seriously Grey's,
Grey's Anatomy Web and
Grey's Anatomy Italian World for joining!
And I finally changed the SOTM. I know, I'm a little late with that!
Happy New Years!
Hey everyone! Hope you have a happy new years, sorry I haven't posted much, I've just been busy with work and stuff and what's better yet is that I'm totally sick... you know, stuffed upped, sinus-y, achy... all the good stuff.
Anyway, be sure to catch Grey's this Thursday, it'll be back with a new episode, so don't miss it!
Next episode January 11th
And here's what we have to look forward to...
Friday Night Lights recycles Grey's actors
So, I recently started watching the NBC show,
Friday Night Lights which airs Tuesday night starring Kyle Chandler, who we all know as Dylan Young, the bomb squad leader that blew up in the infamous two-part episode of Grey's Anatomy, "It's the End of the World" and "As We Know It". He plays a football coach for this high school team in Texas where the whole town revolves around football. I think he's perfect for the role and I'm really liking the show.
I must say, I love Kyle Chandler, always have... since his good ol' days of Early Edition, a series about a guy who gets the newspaper a day early and then has to change the future, cheezy, I know...
So anyway, as I'm watching I realize there's another familiar face... Jesse Plemons! Who we know as Jake Burton... the kid with "advanced cranial diaphyseal dysplasia" in the episode which air right after "As We Know It".
Jake: "You know, if you pretend I'm a lion it helps"
Cristina: "Sorry?"
Jake: "If you pretend I'm a lion then... instead of a really messed up kid, then you've got a talking circus animal which is way easier to look at."
I dunno, I just thought it was interesting... anyway...
McDreamy is facinating... and it's true cause Barbara Walters says so!
Barbara Walters' 10 Most Fascinating PeopleFrom "Grey's Anatomy"'s Dr. McDreamy to hip hop mogul Jay-Z and Vogue magazine's Anna Wintour, Barbara Walters presents the 10 most fascinating people of 2006.
Tonight, "Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2006," airs on ABC at 10 p.m. Despite the fact that it was a year full of scandal, Barbara says they chose to take the high road in making their selections.
"We try to take people from different areas in life, and people who have accomplished something in the past year," she tells ET. "We don't like villains. We like people who have changed the world a bit, and who represent something positive."
This year's chosen include "Grey's Anatomy" heartthrob PATRICK DEMPSEY, Vogue Editor-in-Chief ANNA WINTOUR, hip-hop mogul JAY-Z, newly retired tennis legend ANDRE AGASSI, JOHN RAMSEY, televangelist JOEL OSTEEN and STEVE IRWIN's widow, TERRI IRWIN, among others.
Here is what Barbara told ET about a few of her picks:
Patrick Dempsey: "Patrick Dempsey, when he was very young, married his manager who was twice his age. That didn't work out. Patrick has a very good and solid marriage. He married a woman he went to for a haircut. He not only got his hair cut, he fell in love. Now, he and his wife are expecting twins, along with their other daughter. He is at a great place in his life, not just at 'Grey's Anatomy,' but in his private life. He was very open with us and talked about sex and said, 'Boy, if you've got good sex, that is pretty much it!'" [

Go Patrick! Even if Barbara didn't think you were facinating, we sure as hell would've!
Is Rob Lowe being a sore loser?
Rob Lowe Regrets Turning Down Dr. McDreamy Rob Lowe the former member of the 80's "Brat Pack" says he regrets turning down the role of a lifetime in playing Dr. McDreamy. The actor was offered the part of Dr. Derek Shepherd in the hit show "Grey's Anatomy," but passed it up because he just didn't know better.
Patrick Dempsey ended up being the lucky guy who nailed his comeback in the sexy role. Now, Rob admits he should have carefully rethought his decision, although we're sure if the show wasn't such a hit, he would have cared less about getting the part.
"(I) coulda been McDreamy! It's an occupational hazard. "It's like BRAD PITT turns down THE MATRIX to go do SEVEN YEARS IN TIBET. It happens to everybody."
"The great thing is that Patrick Dempsey is so great in that part and he's such a great actor." said Lowe who walked away from the hit show 'West Wing' and saw his career flounder for several years.
"If I'd have done that I wouldn't be doing this great part and having this fun on (new TV series) BROTHERS AND SISTERS. It all works out." [Source]
Looks like someone is just being petty!
