Welcome to Grey's Directory
Grey's Directory is an ever-growing site directory exclusively for websites dedicated to the television series, Grey's Anatomy.
This site has been up since June 2005. This is by no means an elite link directory, but please submit sites that will be
updated regularly and that you've put a substantial amount of effort into.
Link backs are not necessary, although they are highly appreciated! Afterall, the more hits I get, the more hits you get!
If you need to drop me a line for whatever reason, please feel free to email me at Peachie_K@yahoo.com
and I'll try to get back to you as soon as possible! Thanks for visiting!
Grey's Directory Banner Exchange

Also, be sure to check out the new, Grey's Anatomy banner exchange! It's a great way to network your site and get more hits!
Updates
Topsites being spammed!
Hey everyone! Just a quick update about the
Grey's Directory Topsite List. Sorry if it looks a little messy, I had to put up a hideous temporary layout while I work out the bugs and kinks. I was getting so many spam submissions that I decided to upgrade the version I was using and implement more security measures. If you are experiencing any problems with the script, please let me know so I can fix it as soon as possible. I am however still looking for more people to join the topsite! It doesn't seem to have caught on as much as I was hoping. So, if you're interested, you can join the Topsites listing by visiting
this link.
Non-Grey's related donation drive!
Hey everyone!
It's that time of year again to dig deep into your hearts... and pockets and donate! I know that this isn't Grey's Anatomy related, but I figured I'd just put it out there. Anything you can give would be great! If everyone donated a dollar, it would go a long way so don't think that your donation, however small, won't make a difference because it will! Maybe even mention it to people you know?
This year some of my friends are going to be participating in the 2008 bowl-a-thon on March 1st for The Toronto Rape Crisis Centre/Multicultural Women Against Rape which is a charity working towards a violence-free world by providing anti-oppressive, feminist peer support to survivors of sexual violence through support, education and activism.
If you want to sponsor their team, you can visit this site to support them:
http://www.canadahelps.org/GivingPages/GivingPage.aspx?gpID=1396Also, I promised my friend I would post about the 18th annual CN Tower stair climb she'll be doing on April 19th for the World Wildlife Fund. Your support will go to help protect our oceans and coasts, our freshwater and forests, and wildlife everywhere. YAY!
You can visit this site to sponsor her for that event:

P.S. The writer's strike is now on the brink of being OVER and they could be getting back to work as early as Wednesday, can't wait to see what Grey's will have in store for us!
New layout, finally!
Hey everyone! I have been really on top of it this week! Not only have I made a new layout featuring Eric "McSteamy" Dane, but I've also started sorting through all the affiliate requests I've gotten (some from over a year ago... sorry!).
Anyway, hope you like the new layout, I'm not too sure about the colour scheme, but we'll see. Big thanks to
Eric-Dane.org for the photos.
Also, a big welcome to our newest site that just got listed,
Sara Ramirez Online! I'm always looking for new Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice sites to list, so be sure to submit yours!
That's all for today! Stay tuned for further updates.
Everything's back online!
Hey! Just a quick note to let you all know that the whole site should now be up and running thanks to my wonderful host,
Gertie.
I've gone through all the banner exchange members and all the affiliates and removed those with broken links. Soon I will be sorting through the years worth of affiliations applications (yes, I let it get
that bad) and will be adding new affiliates shortly.
I'm also looking for new Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice sites to add to the directory. So, if you have a site that's not listed here, now's the time to get listed!
Thanks everyone! I'll keep you all posted on my progress. Next task will be to go through all the links and start cleaning those up and perhaps to work on a new layout... time permitting.
Link checks!
Hey everyone!
I know it seems like a really long time since I last updated, but I have been adding new links as they are submitted.
I just spent the last few hours doing link checks to make sure that all the links are up and running and that the sites are being updated. I have suspended a whole bunch of sites because either the sites were down, closed or inactive for over a year and e-mailed them notification that if the problem is not fixed, their site will be removed from the directory. Hopefully by the end of this week I will get back to all those affiliate requests as well... fingers crossed.
And also, I just wanted to mention that this directory is also open to "Private Practice" websites, so don't hesitate to submit your site!
Thanks for all your continued support and don't forget, season 4 of Grey's comes out on DVD September 11th, so pre-order your copy today, I did!
Isaiah to take legal action?
I just posted news about Isaiah being canned from the show when I stumbled upon this news.
The
Ausiello Report claims that actor Isaiah Washington may be contemplating a lawsuit against ABC.
Turns out, Isaiah Washington wasn't joking when, in response to being axed from Grey's Anatomy yesterday, he issued the Network-inspired statement, "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore." In an exclusive interview, the actor's spokesperson, Howard Bragman, tells me, "Isaiah really is angry."
Particularly mystifying to the star is the timing of his ouster — months after he revived the F-word controversy by repeating the slur backstage at the Golden Globes. "If they wanted to fire him," Bragman asks, "why didn't they fire him when [the incident] happened? Why did they say, 'Here's what you need to do if you want to come back… ' and then, when he did everything that was asked of him, he still gets fired. Why do you treat somebody like that?"
"If you made a mistake, you acknowledged the mistake, you went into counseling, you met with the groups, you did the PSA, you did everything that was asked of you, and then they still kick you in the gut? How would you feel?"
While Bragman says there was no formal agreement with ABC that if Washington did X, Y and Z he could keep his job, "There was a discussion and it was agreed upon that this is what needs to be done to come back, and he did everything," he notes. "And, in fact, WE were the ones that pushed for the PSA."
Although Bragman won't rule out Washington taking possible legal action against ABC, he adds, "It would be premature to speculate. We have time to discuss that." (A rep for ABC studios declined to comment on a potential lawsuit, but a studio executive with knowledge of the TV biz says producers have the legal right to not pick up an actor's option – with or without cause.)
Might Washington, who is currently shooting the independent movie The Least of These in Los Angeles, make a brief return to Grey's to tie up Burke's loose ends? "That would be a question for ABC," Bragman says. "I certainly can't imagine they would tell him they're not renewing his contract and then ask him to come back and clean things up."
Folks, something tells me it's gonna be a long while before we get to say that other f-word about this story: finished. [

T. R. in, Isaiah out
I'm sure this is old news to many of you, but I thought it was pretty big news, so here goes.
Reports say that T.R. is expected to come back for the third season of Grey's Anatomy, despite the show's season finale which left many fans with lingering questions.
According to one insider close to the negotiation, Knight has agreed to a new contract that will boost his per-episode salary to roughly $125,000 and give him a small piece of the show profits (pay hikes and profit points were also granted to many of Knight's co-stars, including Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Pompeo, and Sandra Oh). Isaiah Washington on the other hand has not been so lucky. After several tumultous months of racial slurs and on-set fighting, Grey's Anatomy star Isaiah Washington has been given the buh-bye boot.
Washington's publicist, Howard Bragman, confirms that Washington was informed Thursday that he would not be returning next season. In a statement, Washington tells
Usmagazine.com, "I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore."
On May 23, Us was the first to report that Washington, 43, would not be returning to the popular ABC drama. “He will not be back as a series regular,” a source close to ABC said about the embattled star who had been under fire ever since calling costar T.R. Knight a “f---t.”
On the show's May 17 finale, Washington's Dr. Preston Burke left his tentative bride-to-be, Cristina Yang, on their wedding day, allowing producers to fire Washington without disrupting the show's story arc. [
